As a TV reporter, my research at Stanford University has three goals. First, I’d like to learn about “data journalism”. We live in digital world, and the amount of data is increasing rapidly year by year. We journalists should use more data to support our coverage and reporting. Second, I will research how traditional news organizations invest and acquire new startup companies effectively. It is really important to take in new resources and methods to adapt to the new digital era. Third, I’d like to research how new technologies such as VR change journalism. We need to look for the best way to deliver our content to many people.
