Currently, Stanford University is restricting Visiting Scholars. When and if the program reopens, and in accordance with Stanford policies governing Visiting Scholars, we’ll look forward to welcoming new visitors to the H-STAR community.
Consistent with our belief that many of the major problems we focus on can be solved only by cross-disciplinary research on an international scale, H-STAR welcomes visiting scholars from universities and research laboratories all over the world.
While some visitors come on an individual basis, our experience has been that visits are generally more productive when made as part of an institutional H-STAR collabortation. Current and past H-STAR institutional visiting organizations include the Japanese public television corporation NHK, Tallinn University of Technology in Estonia, the Finnish university system, through the Finnish technology agency Tekes, the Danish university system, through the Danish technology agency DASTI, Sony Corporation, the Mitsubishi Electric Company, and the European Innovation Academy.
